• Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and contract documents
• Install casework, millwork, coutertops and associated products into construction sites
• Inspect deliveries for quality and quantity, shortages and damages
• Coordinate with personnel from general contractors, construction managers and other stakeholders in the project
• As a working supervisor to assigned staff, maintain work records, arrange schedules, coach and direct staff in work flow and project coordination
• Prepare records for payroll and job costing; assist with setting and maintaining budgets

Desired Qualifications:

• Ability to lift, carry, handle customer product (casework, etc.) from trucks to buildings, from floor to floor and room to room.
• Ability to operate tools of the trade, including power tools, saws, forklifs, etc.
• Knowledge and application of jobsite protocol and finish carpentry techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret a variety of construction documents.
• Knowledge of safety, equal employment opportunity regulations, employee relations, and jobsite management,
• Strong interpersonal, problem solving, and negotiating skills.
• Ability to teach and coach others in safety, carpentry, time management and work organization
• Ability to travel, including driving or flying to jobsites
